Thousands of New Yorkers will open their doors to children asking this question next Saturday, which means it’s already Halloween! The celebrations start this week, so we hope you already picked your pumpkins and decorated your home using the advice from our last post. Nonetheless, there are a myriad of kids-friendly Halloween events going on around the city if you’d rather go out than stay in.

Not for the faint of heart, Haunted Manhattan offers some creepy 90-minute walking tours through a variety of downtown neighborhoods. The tour guides tell the brave walkers about the ghostly happenings that occurred in each of the aforementioned neighborhoods. The West Village tour is our suggestion for a different family-friendly outing.

Parades are also a great option when choosing how to spend the weekend. Starting with Central Park’s “pumpkin sail” and ending with the Village Halloween Parade, the little ones will get a chance to dress up and enjoy the countless dancers and artists that will join the different routes.

What are you waiting for? Go grab a costume!  (To keep your babies warm while they stroll around Manhattan, we have very cute kids clothes. Don’t leave them at home during the 31st’s scary evening!)
